Gift ideas by budget

We grouped the miners that are in stock right now by price: under $100, $100 to $300, and $300 and up. Each one has a line on who it suits, so you can pick for someone who just likes gadgets or someone who wants to heat a room.

Pre-order miners get their own section with a ship-date warning, so a gift doesn't arrive after the holidays. Black Friday is November 27, and our Black Friday page shows each miner's price today next to the lowest we've logged.

Your first hour with a Bitaxe

Plug it in and the screen shows a setup Wi-Fi name and a QR code. Join it from your phone and put the miner on your home Wi-Fi. It only works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

Then open the miner's dashboard and change the pool's User field to your own Bitcoin address. Do the backup pool too. This is the step people skip, and it's where a block reward would go.

After about 10 minutes, check that accepted shares are going up and the hashrate looks normal for your board.
