Price and stock history
We have been tracking since Oct 16. Lines appear once a seller has more than one logged point.
| Seller | Tracking since | Data points logged | Price range logged | In stock at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin Merch | Oct 16 | 1 | $119.99 | 1 of 1 |

A data point is logged when a seller's price or stock changes, and at least about once a day otherwise, so points are not evenly spaced. Nothing is back-filled: the log only covers the time we have been tracking. EUR prices are converted at the latest ECB reference rate, so exchange-rate moves show up as small changes on those lines.

About the Bitaxe Gamma
The Bitaxe Gamma is a single-chip open-source home miner built around the BM1370 ASIC. Sellers state roughly 1.1–1.5 TH/s depending on clock settings, cooling and power supply, at about 15–18 W. The name covers the 601 and 602 board revisions; boards with two chips are sold separately as the Gamma Duo and the GT 801, and we track those on their own pages.
Who it suits: Someone who wants a low-cost first ASIC to learn on or to run quietly on a desk, and who understands the payoff is a lottery ticket, not income.
Check before you buy
- Power supply: some listings include one and some do not, and the plug type depends on the region option you pick (Solo Satoshi lists a North America option).
- Revision and extras: 601 vs 602, and whether a stand or fan is part of the price.
- Status: Pre-order and Backorder mean it is not in stock yet, even if the page has an Add to cart button.
Is it worth it? The lottery maths
A solo miner does not earn a steady income: it either finds a whole block (a very large reward) or nothing. As a rough illustration only, if the whole network were 1,000 EH/s (a round number we chose, not today's figure: look up the current one), a miner at 1.2 TH/s would be expected to find a block about once every 16,000 years on average, and most years it finds nothing. Electricity is a real cost every year either way. If you want one, buy it as a hobby and for learning, not as an investment.
